Only three men left

It’s been a while, I missed a month or two! I had nothing to say but now I do….

We got OUT OUT! We went to the Lakes for eight whole days and nights! It’s a place where my soul takes off her coat and sinks into the surroundings. I LOVE IT! The Lake District is just there, doing its thing, not a care in the world. It gets trammpled on, rainned on, rubbish left upon and carries on regardless. It occasionally defeats walkers; gravestones naming folk that didn’t make it home and she still doesn’t care. She, the Lake District is just doing her thing. Truly detached, minding her own business, focusing on being majestic! Needless to say I had no complaints, just wonderful photos - come look at at my holiday snaps!

Lockdown has seen the world in a new light but especially for us city dwellers. We are so used to 24-7 hussel and bussel, the quietness has been deafening. So when the opportunity to go cartwheeling on the Millenium Bridge presented itself - obvioulsy I took it! I do love to ‘quitely’ show off my skills in desserted places.

That’s me showing off on the Millenium Bridge

My artist bent has been apprecitated by https://www.bickertongracegallery.com/sam-bunch. I went to see their exhibition and receive my own tiny piece of the Sentiment Collection. If you happen to be in London do go along, it’s an interesting project connecting artists from all over the world. And, it’s affordable. Each piece is £50.00. The gallery is also showcasing electric motorbikes too https://stirlingeco.com, they’re bloody amazing.

Been chatting an awful lot too. Only three men left to ‘interview’ although still lots of typing. Delighted to have been caught on camera actually typing! The evidence is clear. I am working hard but there’s just so much of it. If you’ve missed any of the conversations they’re all recorded in Interviews

As you know I am a member of the Clapham WI. Some people ask me why I am a member, they think it’s a bit fuddy duddy. This is the reason: connection with women from all walks of life, all ages, all backgrounds. Sometimes inspiring, sometimes just daft but always supporting. This is a photo of our latest impromptu picinc on Clapham Common.

And finally our latesed family edition “Maggie” took up Parkour. Leapt over the sofa, via the bar stool, tightroped along the breakfast bar, by passed the left out biscuits and butter, to her final destination - our roast chicken supper! Caught red handed. She got a right telling off - after the photo opportunity of course!

When I write again I should be underway with writing my book. Hallelujah! Have a lovely summer xx
